Pin Grading Guide

Enamel pins are partially handmade and are not always perfect.

Standard pins have no noticeable imperfections. They are practically perfect.

B-grade pins have minor imperfections that are hardly noticeable from a distance. These include: 

• under-filled or over-filled areas
• specks and bubbles in enamel (paint)
• minor scratches on enamel and metal

C-grade pins have major imperfections which are noticeable from a distance. These include:  

• completely unfilled areas
• miscolored areas
• noticeable scratches on enamel and metal

Some blemishes are more noticeable than others. Please make sure you are okay with imperfections before purchasing.

Please note that B and C-grade pins will not come with a backing card.
